Mentory Workshops & Styled Shoots are a aspect I love about photography. When I first started my career I reached out to a couple local photographers that I admired asking for help or education & I offered to pay. All I got was crickets. I truly believe if you are successful I am successful. Our industry should be elevated & be approached as a professional career. Often times I felt like I wasnt good enough or people treated my photography as a hobby. I needed to find a way to elevate my work and my brand. Southern Oregon offered no way for me to do this. As I began to come into my own I wanted to offer workshops & mentorships. I began teaching in 2015 because of this. 1:1 MENTORING
1:1 mentoring sessions available. All styled sessions will be shot in manual & you should have great understanding of your camera unless your booking a technical mentoring session with me. I shoot Canon & have always shot canon so technical inquires for other brands are discouraged but will considered. I also encourage film shooters to inquire. I currently shoot with Contax, Canon 1v, and Mamiya rz67. These mentoring sessions are designed to help you add more to your portfolio to attract the clients you want, as well as learn the editing skills and techniques you see in my work. However, this is something that I have personally come to love, this color, this style and it is very important that you find your own personal style that you love the most. If this is it and your frustrated to no end on how to achieve it, then your in the right spot, but if your seeking the look of more hazy or moody style of editing, I can teach you the essentials on how to get there only...... but you must find your own way in the development of how your work speaks to others & how it speaks to you as well.

WHY:
Developed and styled from the mind of Photography by Lahna Marie & inspired by color.This shoot will be a collection of rich colors and textures inspired by fine art weddings. The shoot will include a fine art cake, invitation suite, a model couple, multiple detail flat lays for jewels, shoes etc and an amazing installation/backdrop, ceremony site, reception table, bar set up. All the mood and colors are inspired by what you see here. This will be held at a new european inspired chateau opening up for micro weddings in southern oregon.

*this is just the retainer, the remaining balance will be due 24hrs prior to the photoshoot. Total cost is TBD. We are trying to keep the seat prices at $400 or under, however, we want to make this an AMAZING photoshoot for you full of gorgeous color and content.
What costs go into a content day you are wondering?
1. Any costs that vendors have associated with their services such as flowers
2. Dress rental or purchase
3. Suit rental or purchase
4. Flat lay details (ring boxes, trinket dishes etc)
5. Any accessories that need purchasing such as shoes, crowns, cuff links etc.
6. Hydration and snacks the day of ( it will be warm)
7. Any materials needed to knock it out of the park.
THIS PHOTOSHOOT IS A MASS MARKETING CONTENT DAY. VENDORS/COLLABORATORS RELY ON YOUR MARKETING AND ADVERTISING TO MAKE THEIR INVESTMENT OF TIME WORTHWHILE. ATTENDEES WILL BE ASKED TO CREDIT ALL THE VENDORS. CHARGES FOR ATTENDEES WILL ONLY BE COVERING THE COSTS TO PUT ON THE EVENT. THIS IS A NOT FOR PROFIT EVENT. TOTAL COST OF TICKET SEATS WILL BE FINALIZED AS SOON AS TOTAL COSTS ARE DETERMINED.

LOVE IS LOVE is an inclusive styled wedding shoot with two same sex couples. This shoot will take place in Southern Oregon at the gorgeous Lithia Springs Resort. This is a lovely lush garden like setting. We will have an amazing line up of sponsoring vendors. Our theme is boho meets mid century modern. There will be lovely flat lay details and gorgeous florals! We are charging only a minimal fee as this is a marketing event and only need to cover costs.
