August Summer Lovin Shoot out

Set in the hot summery days in Southern Oregon this shoot was set to take place last year, then was pushed out, and pushed out again due to covid, then pushed out again do to restrictions and it just seemed like it was not going to happen. Vendors backed out, gatherings were banned, you name it, it was failing. However, for those who know me know I do alot of my own styling and I typically dont throw in the towel, so with one attendee that signed up before all the restrictions I just said heck with it lets do it and she agreed!!!! I am so grateful for the people in my life and the journey we are all traveling together. I am happy how this came out with the hurdles and restrictions, I am was not however happy with the heat LOL, we REALLY could have lived without the heat! The inspiration for this came from color first. When I first planned it, it was to be a shoot focused on color and texture. We were going to have a dried floral arrangement and more textures. Then it morphed into a butterfly shoot, then when my dress vendor backed out inspiration came from this amazing dress! I couldn't have possibly had more things against me trying to pull this together but a big thank you to Ashley Cook Photography for joining me from up north, and Penny and Lulu florist for ordering me a ton of flowers last minute, and Kelsey Malie Calligraphy for always coming through with the most amazing suites! My wonderful amazing makeup artist bombshell by cel who traveled all the way from Portland to be a part of this!
